How to make a simple paper frog using origami technique

What is needed

• Green square paper sticker;
• White paper;
• scissors;
• black felt-tip pen;
• glue.

How to do

Fold the leaf in half to form a triangle.

Bend the right corner towards the center, as shown in the photo.

Expand. Fold the left corner in the same way.

Unbend. Fold over the right side again. Take the free corner to the right to make a small triangle.

Repeat on the other side. The triangles (legs) must be the same.

Flip the shape over. Cut two circles out of white paper, draw two more smaller ones on it with a felt-tip pen. Glue them to the top of the shape.

What is needed

• Green paper;
• ruler;
• simple pencil;
• scissors.

How to do

Measure and draw a 15 cm square on paper. Cut it out. Fold in half. If the paper is colored on one side only, fold the white part inward. Fold one top corner so the short side touches the long side.

Expand. Do the same on the other side. You should be able to see two folds that cross them in a crisscross pattern.

Repeat the same for the bottom side.

Fold the side pieces in between the folds.

Run your fingers along the folds to make them crisp. A triangle will come out.

Do the same on the other side. You will end up with a small square.

Bend the sharp corners of the upper triangle up to a straight line.

Divide the resulting triangles approximately in half. Fold over so the sides meet the side folds. The photo shows a diagram for clarity.

Repeat the same on the bottom side. These will be the legs of the frog.

Flip the shape over. Fold the bottom corner so that the line is flush with the tops of the small side triangles.

Fold the side corners of the shape towards the center.

On this side, triangles will appear that were visible from the inside. Fold the blank so that the fold follows the vertices of these shapes.

To make the frog jump, lay it on a flat surface with its legs down. Press down on the fold in the middle and release abruptly.

On green paper, draw a rectangle, stripe, and future eyes: two shapes with two right corners and a rounded side. Cut out. Make two circles out of white paper. Fold the large rectangle in half across.

Open it and brush with glue in the center of the bottom side. Fold the green strip in half and glue it with a fold to the rectangle.

Apply glue to the ends of the strip. Attach them to the bottom corners of the rectangle.

Behind the fold on the rectangle, glue the green shapes of the eyes, and on them - white circles.

Place two bold dots on the white circles with a felt-tip pen. On the rectangle, draw a smile: a long, curved line and two short ones around the edges.

Under the smile, make two vertical cuts closer to the sides of the rectangle. Fold in the part between the cuts. Get the legs.
