I was pregnant, had been postponing for two weeks, and on December 29th I was put on storage. I was afraid to give birth on holidays. I thought there would be few doctors on the shift, they would want to have fun and celebrate the New Year - there’s no time for me.

But the doctor, with whom I agreed to be accompanied, put me before the fact: I need to shoot this year. If it doesn’t work out on my own, they will help me a little hormonally. And in the morning Dec. 31 I was already ready.

But there was no need to help. An hour and a half later, the waters broke and I began to give birth. While I was resting between contractions, the doctors drank tea and exchanged gifts.

Now I vaguely remember the details, but it felt like the birth was quick. And then it was beautiful: New Year's Eve, an empty chamber and fireworks over the river.

The only thing - I really wanted tangerines and champagne, but all this was forbidden so that the child would not be sprinkled. I have never had such a happy New Year!

On December 31, 2009, I met my future husband in a New Year's trolleybus. It was a special trolleybus for Novosibirsk singles.

Then I was going through a painful break in relations and woke up from illness (in 2009 there was some kind of terrible flu). I had nothing to lose, and after seeing the announcement on the local forum, I decided to go.

A good company got together: young, funny, crazy guys. Several pairs formed that night. I don’t know about the others, but we have been married for 8 years. Since then I believe in wonders, but I know that you also need to have a hand - at least buy a trolleybus ticket!

The guy and I met 2019 in a hurry. We barely managed to buy groceries and set the table. Cleaning was completed at night. And now - 20 minutes remain before the chimes strike, as the lights in the house opposite are turned off. We giggle: "Someone was unlucky!"

But here the light is already turned off with us! I freeze with a rag in my hands - I didn't have time to mop the floors. A mat flies from the kitchen. The house opposite starts to light up candles, people roam the rooms with flashlights on their phones.

The electricity is gone. The area became quiet. And only in this lunar silence, one can clearly hear how someone is engaged in festive sex - with moans, screams and encouraging phrases ...

For the next 20 minutes, we wondered if the guys would make it before 12. We made it in time. So that instead of the president's speech we listened to "O-o-o, yes, come on, ho-ro-sho!". Very inspiring too. And the light was turned on only at half past one in the morning.

I was 5 years old. My parents and I celebrated the New Year in Thailand. Ice figures were very popular then. I remember there were four big ice figures - 2005 in the restaurant area of ​​our hotel. They fascinated me so much that I wanted to touch them! And now, before I had time to touch the five, it collapsed in front of the entire hotel.

I got scared, burst into tears and ran away! Parents almost died laughing. Mom tried to hide with me from the scene of the crime, and dad went to figure out if we should pay something back. Once I was celebrating New Year in a house with a skate ramp. The last time I got up on a skateboard was 10 years ago. But then I could not resist and went for a drive! There were no suitable shoes. So I put on my friend's sneakers, which were six sizes larger.

Unsurprisingly, it all ended with a chin cut. The guys offered me to sew up the wound. But I covered my chin with a band-aid, and we went to the club to finish the mark.

As a result, five hours later, a friend said: “Marin, you have blood it whips in the neck... ”And I still had to go to the emergency room. I remember that it was very quiet, beautiful on the street then, and only crows flew over me.

In two weeks everything healed, but there was a large scar on the chin, reminiscent of this wonderful New Year.

It was 2015. Friends gathered to meet him in their new, freshly built house. The guys made a good repair. Only my hands did not reach the basement: it was beautiful, tiled, but completely uncovered - just a rectangular hole in the floor.

And then - it struck 12, everyone was getting ready to watch the fireworks. We crowd in the hallway, I take my down jacket from the hanger, take a step back and... enchantingly fall right into this beautiful basement! And its height is a full floor. I landed just a couple of centimeters from the cucumber jars.

It is clear that everyone has no time for the holiday. The guys rushed to save me. I remember someone's phrase: "Look, there is no blood?" I got to the couch, I'm sitting, trying to come to my senses.

Called ambulance. And here is the most significant thing: one of the arriving doctors turns her back to the basement and also takes a step! But I stop her. I shout: "Be careful, I fell into this basement!"

In general, at ten minutes past twelve I was already on my way to take x-rays of everything. "What just does not happen when drunk" - you might think. The doctors, with whom I was the first New Year client, at first thought so too. And I have not drunk alcohol for many years. But this, as you can see, does not prevent me from finding adventure!

Thank God, there were no fractures or concussions, although the lump on the back of my head went away for a long time. I got off with a couple of hefty bruises on a soft spot, scratches and bruises. I was still trying to return to continue the banquet, but then I realized that it was better to lie down at home. It was the shortest meeting the New Year!

“For the first time we have gathered to celebrate without parents, and here is such a surprise!”

New Year was in the spirit of “The irony of fate». We celebrated him with a large company, and one guy offered to go and congratulate his friends. We set out in a crowd. He told where to go, but on the way he fell behind with his girlfriend. Since we knew the required entrance and floor, we decided not to wait for him.

The door to the apartment was open. We, of course, said who we came from. The owner nodded and let us in. And, suspecting nothing, we confidently scattered across the living space. We treated ourselves to tangerines and went out onto the balcony. And then someone shouted from above: “So this is where you are! And I lost you! "

The second part of the Marlezon ballet began. It turned out we needed to go up one floor! And the people we ran into were waiting for their relatives. Moreover, the landlord knew our friend at the “hello-bye” level, so he did not kick the company out.

When everything was cleared up, we, of course, apologized for the misunderstanding. But the guys reacted normally, they were young too. For the first time we gathered to celebrate without parents, and here is such a surprise! By the way, relativesthey were waiting for never arrived. So we amused them and parted amicably!

My family and I went to celebrate the New Year with friends. They poured me champagne so that “wash down the desire». I looked... And there - a tooth!

Naturally, the first thing I did was check the presence of mine, although I did not have any plug-in and loose ones. Everything is in place. With this, I alarmed the whole table.

We wondered for a long time how this could happen. Yes, friends had little ones childrenwho were just going through a period of tooth loss. But the Tooth Fairy kept all their teeth in a different place.

In general, we never came to an exact answer, and the story remained a mystery. Something like that happens to me all the time. So we just laughed heartily!

"I bought a plane ticket and flew to Ireland"

One day I got an email from a stranger. He wrote as if he were answering me some comment. I could not remember when and where I commented something to him. But the man turned out to be very interesting and sociable. This is how our friendship.

It was the New Year's Eve. I then broke up with my boyfriend, I was tired of the "work - university" schedule, and in general I felt somehow especially sad and lonely. And then my internet friend spontaneously invited me to visit! I still have my hair on end from my courage, but I agreed.

I bought a plane ticket and flew to Ireland, to people whom I did not know at all. He met me at the airport, introduced me to his family. It was the most sincere and cozy welcome! I spent several days with them, and then we started flying to visit each other.

We still communicate and support each other. And every time I experience the feeling of comfort that I felt in our first meeting.

This was back in my student days, before the 2010 meeting. On the evening of the 31st, I dropped in to my friend to have a martini and go for a walk with her. But after the first glass, I suddenly felt bad. There was no time for walks. A friend just brought me home.

Parents thought at first that it was poisoning. But I was sick from eight in the evening until two in the morning. I don’t remember such a thing before. That's terrible! I crawled out to the chimes, clinked a glass of water with my parents and crawled back.

It got better by morning. Mom suggested that it might be appendicitis. But before that I hadn’t been in any hospital, I wasn’t particularly ill, so I didn’t even believe it. Only in the evening I got sick again and we called an ambulance.

The nurse, who took my blood, swayed from wall to wall - apparently, she met the New Year well. The examining doctor, on the contrary, was sober, but angry and twitchy - they must have been torn away from the festive table!

But before I knew it, I was assigned to the operation. I was worried: are they really what we need, will they cut it out or not? I was afraid of a scar all over my stomach. But thanks to the doctor - young, sober and adequate. The operation was successful, and the scar is not visible at all.

I spent the New Year holidays and even made it to the session. Of course, then there was little fun, but in general I remember this incident with a positive!
