Tinder has a new music mode
Miscellaneous / / December 10, 2021
Tinder announced a new music mode co-created with Spotify. It will help users find a soul mate with similar music preferences.
The idea is not entirely new: users could add a "hymn" - a favorite song to their profile before. However, in order to listen to it, another user must open your profile and click on the play button. At the same time, in the music mode, the profile tracks will be turned on automatically when scrolling through the tape.
According to Tinder, already 40% buzzers all over the world have added "hymns" to their profiles. These users began to receive mutual likes 10% more often. According to representatives of the service, the new mode will help users feel the joy they experience when someone at a party likes their favorite song.
The feature is rolling out gradually and will be available on iOS and Android worldwide in the coming weeks.
