1. Google Docs & Sheets
Apps for smartphones and tablets from Google allow you to edit files even without an Internet connection, so you can finish the burning task while relaxing in the country. True, you first need to open access to the file for offline editing, otherwise nothing will come of it.
In addition to the standard formatting and spelling check in a text editor, it is possible to mark important documents, quickly search for the meaning of a word and illustrations on the Internet. And in tables - creating a QR code using a formula, a gradient of lines and others.
"Google Docs" and "Google Sheets" are available only in the App Store and Google Play, there are no official applications of the company in AppGallery. In addition, to work with texts and tables, you need to download different applications - you won't be able to do everything in one place.
2. "MyOffice Documents"
A single free application for working with documents of any format. With it, you do not need to download several editors at once: write text, create a table, read a pdf-file. But the free version does not include page breaks, document orientation, customizing headers and footers, editing SmartArt elements, and a number of other features.
4. SmartOffice
SmartOffice also combined texts, tables, and presentations at once. The application has a simple and slightly outdated interface, but there are enough tools for basic work on documents. Plus it has 12 templates and supports major office formats, including the older .doc, .ppt, and .xls.
The finished document can be saved to the device, synchronized with a third-party cloud, sent to instant messengers or printed without leaving the application. However, SmartOffice does not support co-authoring. A paid subscription is required for the review to be available. Also, the disadvantages of the application include a small set of fonts and shades of a colored marker.
5. iWork
An office suite from Apple, including Pages text editor and Numbers spreadsheet editor. Apps have a wide range of functions and tools, there are many templates for different tasks - for example, Pages have more than 70 of them. Apple office products allow you to translate text directly in the document and use a variety of multimedia inserts, including videos from YouTube and Vimeo, which can be launched without going to a browser.
Unlike other editors, you can start working with tables in Numbers not only with a ready-made ruler, but also with a completely blank sheet - insert the desired fragments anywhere in the document. iWork also supports co-authoring and allows you to make handwritten edits and add decorative elements using the stylus. But Apple's office suite is only available in the App Store.
