Unlimited mobile Internet is canceled in Russia

For clients with old tariffs, nothing will change yet.
Since November 26, Beeline, MegaFon, MTS and Tele2 have disabled the ability to connect to unlimited Internet for new users. About it informs "RBK" with reference to the press service of the operators. The representatives of the companies also named the reasons for this decision.
According to the operators, users of unlimited tariffs spend no more than 50 GB of traffic per month, and 70% of them are enough for 20 GB or less. Tele2 representatives noted: “First of all, we proceed from the needs of customers, and we have not seen any demand for unlimited lately”.
For those who use more Internet, operators are ready to offer additional traffic packages and other options. At the same time, the unlimited option is still available in tariffs for modems and routers.
It is also reported that for users of tariffs with unlimited Internet nothing will change until they themselves decide to change the tariff.
