A new kitchen gadget for those who always care about their health.
Asus has launched a food safety testing device on the market. The gadget, dubbed PureGo PD100, is capable of detecting the presence of pesticides, chemicals and other harmful impurities. To do this, you just need to place it in water in which you wash vegetables, berries, fruits or, for example, mushrooms.
Before checking, products should lie in water for 2-3 minutes so that all foreign substances, if any, have time to dissolve. The device itself starts working on contact with liquid.
The analysis of substances is carried out using a special optical detection technology and dynamic algorithms. The level of cleanliness will be indicated by the color of the diode indicator in the upper part of the case: red or yellow will indicate the need to rewash, and green will indicate safety.
Also, all data from the gadget goes to a special mobile application on a smartphone connected via Bluetooth 5.0. Measurements can be saved generating general statistics, by which it will be easy to track the gradual deterioration or improvement of the safety level of consumed products.
PureGo PD100 has a 1200 mAh battery that provides 6 hours of battery life. The make-up is wireless, a special dock is used for it. The device works at a water temperature from 8 ℃ to 35 ℃. Gadget price made up $ 200 (≈15,000 rubles).
