Apple to publish instructions for iPhone repair

You won't have to pay for them.
A week earlier, Apple unexpectedly announced, which will allow the owners of the brand's equipment to repair it on their own using original spare parts and tools.
During the announcement, it was not entirely clear whether Apple plans to sell repair manuals, attach to purchased parts, or even make them available to everyone. An internal memo that hit to the journalists of MacRumors, clarifies this point: instructions will be available on the official Apple support website.
The memo also notes that a third party company under Apple's control will manage the supply of self-repair parts and the collection of used parts. The reasons are not explained, but a similar scheme is already used to supply consumables and tools to authorized service centers.
The self-repair program, which kicks off in the US in early 2022, will replace displays, glasses and batteries in the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 lines. It is planned to add the ability to repair M1-based Macs later next year and make the program available in other countries.
