Microsoft releases Windows 10 fall update and announces OS support dates

From now on, new versions will be released only once a year.
Microsoft announced about the release of the November update (21H2) for Windows 10. The assembly was numbered 19044. The mailing will be gradual, as always.
Major improvements are noted:
- adding support for WPA3 H2E standards to improve Wi-Fi security;
- Simplified Windows Hello for Business password-less sign-in method;
- Supports GPU computing on Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) and Azure IoT Edge for Linux.
To check if an update is available, go to Settings → Update and Security → Windows Update and select Check for Updates.
The developers also announced that Windows 10 is now moving to annual feature updates (up from two a year earlier) to keep pace with Windows 11. So, the next update is scheduled only for the second half of 2022.
At least one version of Windows 10 will be officially supported until October 14, 2025. Home and Pro will be serviced for 18 months, while Enterprise and Education will be serviced for 30 months.
Microsoft also recalled that all editions of Windows 10 version 2004 will no longer be serviced 14 December 2021, and version 1909 for Enterprise and Academic releases until May 10 2022 year. Devices running versions 1909 and 2004 will no longer receive monthly security updates.
