Japan released a miniature Android smartphone that fits perfectly in the hand

Japanese premium home appliance maker Balmuda has unveiled its first Android smartphone. It got the quite logical name Balmuda Phone.
The device has a very compact size, a rounded design and a curved back, which makes it as convenient as possible for one-handed use. The manufacturer notes that the engineers designed the smartphone in such a way that it fits perfectly in the hand. The dimensions of the case were 69 × 123 mm with a maximum thickness of 13.7 mm.
Its screen is 4.9 inches diagonal at 1080p resolution. Inside is a Snapdragon 765 processor with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, just like the Pixel 4a 5G. The battery has a capacity of 2,500 mAh and is charged via USB-C or Qi technology. The housing has a degree of protection against dust and moisture IP44.
The Balmuda Phone has one 48 megapixel camera on the back and there is also a fingerprint scanner, which is located in the corner of the case, so that the finger lies directly on it. For selfies, an 8 megapixel module is built into the display. There is also NFC for contactless payment and support for modern communications: Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, LTE, 5G.
The smartphone works on the basis of a specially customized version of Android 11 with a set of proprietary applications, various gestures for convenient management of services and interface themes.
In Japan, Balmuda Phone unlocked will cost 104,800 yen (≈67,000 rubles). Sales will begin this month.
