Hake cutlets with cheese

Juicy and tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. These hake patties are complemented with melted cheese and are therefore just perfect.

Ingredients
- Onion 1 piece
- Carrots 1 piece
- Vegetable oil 5-6 tbsp. spoons
- Hake fillet 1 kg
- Stale white bread 100 g
- Milk 200 ml
- Processed cheese 1 piece
- Egg 1 piece
- Salt to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste
- Breadcrumbs 5-6 tbsp. spoons
- Butter 50 g
Cooking method
Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. Peel and grate the carrots.
Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a skillet. Saute vegetables until tender, 5-6 minutes.
Grind the hake fillet with a blender or meat grinder.
Cut off the crusts from the bread, chop the crumb coarsely and cover with milk for 10-15 minutes.
Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Chop the bread with your hands and squeeze lightly.
Combine the fish with cheese, bread, fried vegetables and an egg, add salt and pepper to taste and mix well.
Form cutlets out of minced meat with wet hands, roll them in bread crumbs.
Preheat oven to 180 ° C. Cut the butter into small cubes and place on the bottom of a baking dish.
Heat the remaining vegetable oil in a skillet. Fry the patties for 3 minutes on each side.
Place the patties in a baking dish and bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes.
