These are simple curd donuts that you will want to cook over and over again. Ruddy, sweet, vanilla-flavored, sprinkled with powdered sugar are ideal.
Rub the curd through a sieve and mix thoroughly with eggs, sugar, vanilla extract and salt.
Sift flour, combine with baking powder and add portions to cottage cheese. Knead a soft and smooth dough.
Roll it into a ball, cover with cling film and leave for 10-15 minutes.
Heat vegetable oil in a saucepan or deep skillet. Roll the dough into small balls. Fry them for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
Put the finished donuts on paper towels to remove excess grease and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
