Braided cinnamon rolls

These cinnamon rolls will turn out nice and delicious. Soft butter dough, aromatic filling and golden brown crust, covered with a thin layer of sweet glaze.

Ingredients
- Fresh yeast 25 g
- Milk 200 ml
- Eggs 2 pieces
- Butter 200 g + for lubrication
- Salt 1 tsp spoon
- Powdered sugar 50 g
- Flour 600 g
- Butter 150 g
- Brown sugar 250 g
- Ground cinnamon 2 tsp spoons
- Egg 1 piece
- Milk 2 tbsp. spoons
- Powdered sugar 100 g
- Water 100 ml
Cooking method
Dissolve the yeast in warm milk. Add eggs, softened butter, salt and powdered sugar. Whisk everything with a whisk until smooth.
Gradually add flour to the liquid ingredients, kneading smooth, soft dough. Roll it into a ball and transfer to a clean bowl.
Cover the bowl with cling film and place in a warm place for 45 minutes.
For the filling, whisk softened butter and sugar into a fluffy mass, add cinnamon and stir.
When the dough has doubled in size, fold it over and roll it into a thin rectangular layer. Brush the filling over the dough.
Lay the slab with the long side facing you. Divide it horizontally into three equal parts mentally. Fold the bottom third inward, cover it with the top third of the layer.
Cut the resulting rectangle into strips 3-4 cm wide. On each strip, before reaching the end, make two long cuts to make three ribbons.
Braid the ribbons. Roll in a spiral to make balls.
Grease the muffin molds with butter, put the blanks in them.
Cover with a towel and leave in a warm place for 1 hour. Preheat oven to 200 ° C.
Beat the egg with a fork and milk. Brush the dough with the egg mixture and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
At this time, combine the icing sugar and water, bring the mixture to a boil and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Grease hot buns liberally with syrup and cool completely.
