Cabbage casserole with chicken and mushrooms

This mouth-watering casserole made from cabbage, mushrooms and chicken fillet turns out to be tender, aromatic and truly delicious. Try it!

Ingredients
- White cabbage 1 kg
- Carrots 2 pieces
- Onions 3-4 pieces
- Vegetable oil 3-4 tbsp. spoons + for lubrication
- Water 50-100 ml
- Salt to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste
- Chicken thigh fillet 500 g
- Champignons 200-250 g
- Sour cream 300 g
- Greens to taste
- Cheese 100 g
Cooking method
Chop the cabbage. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Finely chop the onion.
In a skillet, heat half the oil over moderate heat. For a minute or two, fry half the onion, add the carrots and, stirring, cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Pour the cabbage into the same skillet, add water and cover. Simmer everything together for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper.
Cut the chicken and mushrooms into small pieces. Heat the remaining oil in another skillet. First, brown the onions, and then fry the fillets and mushrooms for 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Put half of the cabbage in a greased dish and brush with sour cream. Spread the meat with mushrooms on top and cover again with a layer of sour cream. Place the remaining cabbage on the bird, add chopped greens, brush with sour cream and sprinkle with grated cheese.
Bake for about 30 minutes at 180 ° C.
