Making this aromatic chokeberry wine at home is not at all difficult, the main thing is to be patient.

Ingredients
- Chokeberry 5 kg
- Sugar 1 kg
- Raisins 50 g
- Water 1 l
Cooking method
Remove the rowan from the branches and sort it out, you do not need to wash the berries.
Mash the chokeberry with your hands. Make sure that there are no whole berries left.
Place the rowan in a 10 liter glass or plastic container.
Pour in 500 grams of sugar with the raisins and stir.
Cover the container with gauze and leave for a week in a dark place at a temperature of 20-25 ° C. Stir several times daily.
Squeeze the berries with your hands, strain this juice and the one that remains in the container.
Pour all the strained juice into a clean container. The juice should occupy no more than 40% of its volume.
Install a special water seal on the container or use an elastic band to secure a rubber glove, pierce one of the fingers of which.
Leave the container in a dark place at a temperature of 18-25 ° C for 5 days.
Meanwhile, pour the squeezed berries with warm water, add 500 g of sugar. Cover with gauze and also leave for 5 days in a dark place at room temperature. Stir several times every day. Strain gently.
Remove the odor trap, remove the foam from the surface and add the juice from the strained berries from the previous step.
Reinstall the odor trap. Leave the wine for a month and a half.

When the glove deflates or bubbles stop coming out of the water seal, use a plastic tube to pour the wine into the containers, filling them to the top. Try not to touch the sediment at the bottom.
The most convenient way is to use a dropper tube, which can be bought at the pharmacy.
Leave the wine for 4-6 months in a dark place with a temperature of 10-15 ° C. Filter about once a month to remove sediment from the bottom.
Pour the finished wine into bottles and keep cool.
