HSBC Bank experts conducted study, in which compared the cost of private cars and Taxi in different countries. It turned out in Russia is more profitable to use a taxi - but only if you drive your own car less than 5.4 thousand. km per year.

As a basis, the researchers took the car Toyota Camry. They took into account the costs of fuel and maintenance of the machine, the average price for a taxi and the income level of residents.

The magnitude of the distance required for the purchase of cars has become profitable, Russia was in first place. For example, in India it is enough to pass 2731 km per year in the US - 1 102 km. It is most advantageous to have their cars in Germany - where the figure was 811 km.

HSBC experts believe that the situation in Russia has developed because of the high cost of imported cars and the relatively low cost of a taxi. Recently in Russia is on average 75% less than in the US, the annual cost of machine ownership only 30% less.

A taxi ride in Russia costs an average of 130 rubles, in Moscow - 350 rubles. By the way, the country ranks third in the world in the prevalence of the application to call a taxi. They have 45% of people - more just in Mexico (46%) and China (51%).
