Make a spicy, aromatic horseradish beetroot sauce for the winter. It can be served with various meat dishes or simply spread on bread.
Boil the beets for 1-2 hours until soft. Cool it down. Peel the beets, horseradish and garlic.
The weight of vegetables is indicated already peeled.
How much to cook beets and how to speed up the process
Grind the beets and garlic with a meat grinder. Place them in a saucepan.
Add sugar and salt and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
In the meantime, grind the horseradish with a blender.
When the beetroot mass boils, put the horseradish in it and stir. Cook for another 2-3 minutes. Add vinegar at the end.
Place in sterilized jars and roll up. Turn over, wrap, and after cooling, put in a cool place.
