Motorola launches updated Edge with 144Hz screen and pure Android 11

Motorola released a new version of the Edge smartphone, first unveiled last year. The novelty has changed both externally and in terms of filling. Now it is the owner of a modern Snapdragon 778G processor from Qualcomm and a screen with a refresh rate of 144 Hz.
The display itself is now flat with a diagonal of 6.8 inches, FullHD + resolution and HDR10 support. The hole in the center houses a 32 megapixel selfie camera with Quad Pixel technology. The main photomodule is represented by sensors of 108 Mp (1 / 1.52 ″, f / 1.9), 8 Mp (119 °, f / 2.2) and 2 Mp (depth of field). There is support for 4K video and slow motion shooting at up to 960 frames per second.
A 5,000 mAh battery with 30 W fast charging is responsible for autonomous operation. Motorola Edge also received support for Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, LTE, 5G and NFC. The housing is protected from dust and splashes according to IP52 standard. There is a fingerprint scanner on the side. The novelty works on a clean version of Android 11.
Motorola Edge with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory will be priced at $ 699 (≈52,000 rubles). Sales start - September 2.
