LG unveils new Tone Free TWS earbuds

LG has officially announced the next generation of Tone Free wireless headphones. Three models are available in the updated line: the flagship FP9, the medium FP8 and the available FP5.

Covers of the two older versions received a useful function current generation - ultraviolet disinfection. In 5 minutes, it destroys 99.9% of bacteria. In this case, the headphones can be simultaneously charged from the case.

But this time, the focus was on another feature that is only available in the FP9 modification: its the case can be used as a Bluetooth adapter for connecting to equipment that does not have wireless modules. This will be useful for owners of old computers, TVs, as well as those who like to watch movies on the plane, but do not want to use wired headphones.

All three new products received active noise cancellation and improved surround sound. LG claims that you will be able to hear sounds more clearly in space, as if they were around your head. There is also a new "whisper mode": during a conversation, you can pull out the right earpiece and bring it to your mouth, using it as a microphone.

A notable change for this generation is the shortened headphone feet: they are 4.4 mm shorter. Autonomy depends on the model: for FP9 and FP8 it is 10 hours without a case and 24 hours with a case, while for FP5 it is reduced to 8 and 22 hours, respectively.

The LG Tone Free FP9, FP8 and FP5 will be available until the end of July in black and pearl white, while the FP9 and FP8 will also have a muted gold version. The cost of new products has not yet been announced.
