The Moscow Library has published 318 rare photographs of the early 20th century

From portraits of famous writers to photographs of ancient Egyptian temples.
Library named after Nekrasov published 318 photographs of the late 19th - early 20th centuries, kept in the department of rare editions and collections. All of them are available on the website of the electronic library "Elektronekrasovka".
The collection is divided into two thematic parts. The first presents portrait photographs of Moses Nappelbaum, who photographed Soviet writers, politicians and cultural figures of the 1920s โ 1930s. Among them: Sergei Yesenin, Alexander Blok, Mikhail Zoshchenko, Osip Mandelstam and others.
The second part of the archive contains specific photographs of Egypt, Austria, Azerbaijan, India, Spain, Georgia, Sudan, the Russian Empire and some other countries. All these photos and many other historical frames of the past centuries can be found in the section of the site โIzotekaยป.
