AliExpress and the City mobile application interviewed 30 thousand residents of Moscow to find out their eco-habits. The results showed that 34% of respondents sort waste, 41% recycle hazardous waste (batteries, light bulbs, thermometers, barometers and other devices).
48% of respondents who sort waste use specialized containers near their home for this, another 12% go to collection points.
Shoppers for grocery stores are also gaining popularity in the capital (they are used by 75% of respondents), and the demand for reusable containers and lunch boxes (13 times), refillable bottles (12 times), energy saving bulbs (3.1 times) and energy saving solar lamps (1.3 times).
