Viewers learn about this in the very first part of the famous franchise: at some point, the characters find themselves in a temple, the entire floor of which is teeming with poisonous snakes, which Indiana is terribly afraid of.

2. Anaconda

In Russia, the film directed by Luis Llosa is known and loved much more than abroad. The creators gave the main role to Jennifer Lopez, who was just taking her first steps in the cinema, and one of the minor characters was played by a completely unknown Owen Wilson.
A few years after the release, the picture received several sequels, which were dealt with by other authors. But already in the second part, the quality dropped dramatically, and the third went straight to TV.

3. Harry Potter And The Chamber of secrets

It can hardly be called a spoiler (after all, the film is almost 20 years old) the fact that a giant snake, a basilisk, was responsible for the outrage that took place in the castle. Monster image author of the book Joanne Rowling borrowed entirely from medieval legends. By the way, the basilisk from the picture is not computer graphics, but an animatronic doll. The funny thing is that the special effects specialists only had to make the head of the monster.

4. The jungle book

By launching the animation-game pipeline remakesDisney couldn't do without a live version of the 1967 Jungle Book. The film was entrusted to the father of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, John Favreau, and it paid off: the tape became a hit and earned praise from critics.
And from the canon of Rudyard Kipling this time they departed quite far. In particular, the python Kaa became a female character, and Scarlett Johansson herself voiced the heroine with her velvet voice.

5. Snake

6. Mowgli

Boy Mowgli grew up in a wolf pack in the jungle. The inhabitants of the forest accept it as their own - everything except the evil one tiger Sherkhan. But soon the child will have to find out that much greater dangers can await him in the jungle. One of them is his own origin.
Andy Serkis's version, unlike Favreau's project, was created without looking at the family audience. The movie really turned out to be more adult and even scary, but at the same time closer to the book by Rudyard Kipling. In addition, in the Disney film, animals were drawn from scratch, and Serkis used motion capture technology.
As for Kaa, Andy picked up Favreau's idea and also changed his gender to female, and Cate Blanchett was called to voice the character. Therefore, the two versions turned out to be very similar, and even famous Hollywood divas speak for the snakes.
7. They crawl after you

New generation film by aspiring directors Brittany Poulton and Dan Madison Savage horror, in which the main thing is not the plot, but the uncomfortable atmosphere. At the same time, quite famous actors are filmed in the film: the star of "Handsome Boy" Caitlin Deaver and the incomparable Olivia Colman.
