Not Pro, but cool anyway.
Nintendo has finally unveiled a new version of the Switch console. In spite of rumors, it did not receive the Pro box - it is called the Nintendo Switch (OLED model), which perfectly reflects one of the main innovations.
7-inch display (versus 6.2-inch for the standard Switch) retains HD resolution (1,280 × 720 pixels), when connected to a TV, you can display the image in Full HD (1,920 × 1,080 pixels). Contrary to expectations, 4K support was never added. Nintendo hasn't revealed anything about the processor, so it's unclear if Nvidia's new chipset is being used here.
The amount of internal memory has increased from 32 to 64 GB, and the console has a stand for multiplayer games without connecting to a TV. The docking station also received a LAN port and improved sound. Nintendo confirmedthat accessories from the regular Switch will fit the new OLED model - including the docking station and joy-cones. At the same time, the new docking station with LAN port will work with the regular Switch.
The console will go on sale on October 8 at a price of 30,499 rubles in two colors: white and classic neon with red and blue joy-cones. In the white version, the case and docking station will be white, in the red and blue one - in black.
