Will hang on your shoulders and will help to live.
Microsoft received patent for a backpack with built-in artificial intelligence. The application notes that this is a full-fledged digital assistant.
The wearable accessory is equipped with a camera, microphone, speaker, network interface, processor and digital storage. Thanks to this, it can identify objects in the environment, perform contextual tasks, access information from the cloud, and interact with other devices.
The document describes various life situations in which the device can become a useful companion. Imagine that you have arrived at a ski resort and found a wonderful slope that you want to get off beautifully. Then you can check with the backpack whether the chosen direction is safe. He will scan the surroundings and report all the necessary information.
Or, for example, you find yourself in front of an interesting concert poster - you can instruct him to add this event to the calendar and set a reminder. And in the case of purchases, he can even become a best friend: he will talk about promotions, current prices in the store closest to the house and compare them with the price list of other shops. And all this without hands.
The interaction process goes like this: as soon as the backpack receives a command, it automatically determines environment using various sensors, and then sends the data to a special mechanism with artificial intellect. The AI then returns with a response. In some cases, he may request additional information.
However, it is worth remembering that the registration of a patent does not mean that the company is developing the product described in it and in the future it will enter the market. Often, many ideas remain only on paper.
