LG announced new headphones with decontamination function - Tone Free DFP8W. Their self-cleaning principle is the same as in previous model - the inserts placed in the case are disinfected by UV exposure. Up to 99.9% of bacteria are removed from the silicone tips and the mesh of the sound guide.
The headphones themselves are equipped with 8mm drivers developed in partnership with Meridian Audio. Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) has been added and aptX, AAC and SBC codecs are supported. Bluetooth 5.2 is used for pairing with devices. Fast connection is provided by Google Fast Pair and Windows Swift Pair technologies.
The battery life of the earbuds is up to 6 hours with the ANC function or 10 hours without it. The charging case increases those numbers to 14 and 24 hours, respectively. 5 minutes of charging will allow you to listen to music for an hour.
The Tone Free DFP8W is IPX4 protected. The price of the headphones was 180 euros (≈15,700 rubles). They will be available in three colors, including a new flesh one.
