Microsoft announced about the redesign of Office. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Access, Project, Publisher, and Visio all have a fresh, intuitive and consistent user interface using Fluent Design principles.
Now all the programs in the package work better with Windows 11, made in the same style. At the same time, the new OS will not become a prerequisite for installing fresh versions of applications - Windows 10 will do.
In addition to a new interface, Office has received options to facilitate collaboration, and adaptive support for Windows dark mode. Now the white sheet of your text, spreadsheet or presentation will not hit you in the eye if you decide to work at night.
Also, the new version of Office for Windows 11 received a native 64-bit version for Arm, which improves performance when working with large or filled documents.
The new version of Office is currently in beta testing and is available to program members
Office Insider. The ability to download the update for the package programs should appear in the near future. The Arm version can only be tested on Windows 11 Insider Preview.
