Strawberry jam with agar agar

Strawberry jam with agar agar turns out to be very thick, even similar to marmalade. The berries are cooked very little, so they retain both color and taste.

Ingredients
- Agar-agar 10 g
- Water 12 tbsp. spoons
- Strawberry 1 kg
- Sugar 500 g
Cooking method
Pour the agar-agar over with warm water, mix well and leave while you handle the berries.
Rinse the strawberries and remove the leaves. Dry, then cut into slices.
Place the berries in a wide container in which you will make the jam. Add sugar and stir.
Pour agar into a small saucepan, cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Place the bowl of strawberries on the fire and heat a little. Pour in agar, mix thoroughly.
Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Then boil for no longer than 2 minutes.

Arrange the jam in sterilized jars, roll up and turn over. Wrap, and after cooling, transfer to a dark, cool place.
