Homemade cheese made from cottage cheese and milk turns out to be quite dense, perfectly cut and will become an appetizing addition to sandwiches.

Ingredients
- Milk 2 l
- Curd 1300 g
- Butter 100 g
- Eggs 2 pieces
- Soda 1 tsp the spoon
- Salt 1 tsp the spoon
- Citric acid ⅓ h. spoons
- Cumin 1 tsp the spoon
- Dried herbs 1 tsp the spoon
Cooking method
Boil milk and add cottage cheese. Bring to a boil again and cook for 4-5 minutes.
Remove from heat and discard cottage cheese with milk in a colander lined with gauze. Leave for 7-10 minutes to drain the liquid.
Without wringing, put the mass back into the saucepan and mix with the butter. Add eggs, baking soda, salt and citric acid.
Boil the mixture in a water bath for about 15-20 minutes until it becomes smooth. Stir constantly.
If using cumin or herbs, add them when the mixture has melted.
Transfer the prepared cheese mass into a mold and flatten. Cover with plastic wrap. Cool at room temperature and then refrigerate for 10-12 hours.
