Puff pastry tart with minced meat and blue cheese

The highlight of this minced puff pastry pie is the spicy blue cheese that perfectly complements the beef filling.

Ingredients
- Vegetable oil 40 ml
- Onions 1 piece
- Garlic 1 clove
- Ground beef 400 g
- Salt to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste
- Bay leaf 1 piece
- Beef broth 200 ml
- Flour 1 tbsp. the spoon
- Puff pastry 250 g
- Blue cheese 100-150 g
- Egg 1 piece
- Spices to taste
Cooking method
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the finely chopped onion for 2-3 minutes until soft.
Add chopped garlic, heat medium and cook for 4-5 minutes.

Increase the heat slightly again. Add minced meat to vegetables and fry for 8-10 minutes, until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
You can season the meat and other spices of your choice.
Add bay leaf and broth and stir. If the minced meat is not completely covered, add a little more water.
Bring to a light boil and cook for 20 minutes.
Lightly dust the table with flour. Roll out the dough into a rectangular sheet about ⁄₂ cm thick.
Preheat oven to 200 ° C. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
Place the filling in a wide strip in the middle of the dough. Leave about 10 cm of dough on the sides. Place the crumbled cheese on the minced meat.
Make many cross-cuts on the sides of the dough to the filling.
Place the strips on the cheese, alternating the right and left sides of the dough. You should get a braid. Pinch the narrow edges.
Brush the dough with a beaten egg. Sprinkle with herbs if desired.
Bake the cake for 20-30 minutes, until golden brown.
