Samsung was expected to show more than flagship laptops at its recent Unpacked launch Galaxy Book Probut also an affordable Galaxy Book Go with a Qualcomm ARM chip. The Galaxy Book Go features a 14-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels and a 180º swivel lid. The laptop is certified according to the US military standard MIL-STD-810 - it must be protected from dust and withstand drops of up to 1.2 meters.
The cheapest version has an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c processor with a frequency of up to 2.5 Hz, 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of internal flash memory, as well as support for microSD and LTE cards. In a more expensive modification, a more productive Snapdragon 8cx Gen3, 8 GB of RAM and a 5G module are expected.
Both versions use a 42.3Wh battery with support for 25W charging via USB Type-C. An additional USB-C connector, one USB-A and an audio jack are also available on the case. Among other things, it is worth noting the Dolby Atmos sound, keyboard backlighting, the presence of a fingerprint scanner finger in the power button and support WiFi ac and Bluetooth 5.1. With all this, the new product will weigh 1.39 kg.
According to insiders, the available version without LTE will cost $ 349 (≈31,600 rubles), and the version with LTE - $ 449 (≈40,700 rubles). The prices of modifications with a more powerful chip have not yet been reported.
