In iOS 14.5, you can reject a call through headphones

In the latest beta version of iOS 14.5, we discovered an interesting new feature. It allows you to answer an incoming call or drop it when you are wearing headphones and do not want to reach your smartphone.
Siri has long been able to announce incoming calls through headphones, and now it will be enough to say "Answer" and "Decline" for the assistant to accept or reject the call for you. This is implemented as simply as possible: after the call is announced, Siri turns on the microphone for a few seconds to hear what she is doing, and you do not have to say "Hey Siri."
This is especially useful, considering that through AirPods you can only accept an incoming call by double-tapping one of the headphones, but you can only reset it from your phone. If your hands are busy and you don't want to answer, you will have to listen to the ringtone for a minute until the caller hangs up.
Logically, the new feature will work on Siri-enabled headphones: these are all AirPods from the 2nd generation, and some Beats models.
The final version of iOS 14.5 will be available for download next week, so you won't have to wait long for this feature.
