For those who miss new species.
Google launched new interactive project Explore World Heritage in cooperation with UNESCO. Basically, this is a free online tour of cultural heritage sites from around the world protected by this organization.
On the main page, you can walk along the virtual streets of ancient cities and see famous buildings in 3D, visit sacred places, royal palaces, national parks, caves and more. There is also information about animals that are kept in UNESCO reserves.
All text materials are in English, but it is possible to include a translator into Russian. The result, of course, is not ideal, but it allows you to understand the main thing. There are really a lot of materials: it will take more than one day to study everything.
