Easter cakes with raisins, candied fruits and rum

You will have fluffy cakes with a caramel flavor. Thanks to raisins and candied fruits, one or two days after cooking, baked goods become even tastier.

Ingredients
- Candied fruits 100 g
- Raisins 100 g
- Rum 2-3 tbsp. spoons
- Butter 200 g
- Eggs 2 pieces
- Fresh yeast 30 g
- Brown sugar 200 g
- Milk 250 ml
- Flour 640 g
- Salt 1 pinch
- Vanilla sugar 10 g
- Vegetable oil 1-2 tbsp. spoons
- Glaze to taste
- Nuts to taste
- Dried fruits to taste
Cooking method
Pour the candied fruit and raisins with rum, leave overnight.
Put chopped butter, eggs, yeast, brown sugar into a deep bowl or saucepan and pour in warm milk. Do not stir.

Cover the bowl with a towel and leave at room temperature overnight or 8-12 hours.
Protect the workpiece from drafts.
Add flour, salt and vanilla sugar in the morning. Stir, add raisins with candied fruits, leave for 15-20 minutes. Knead a soft dough.
Grease the baking dishes with vegetable oil and lay out the dough so that it is about a third full. Leave it warm for an hour and a half.
Preheat the oven to 200 ° C and place a small container of water on the bottom.

Bake the cakes for 30-40 minutes. After cool, decorate with glaze, nuts and dried fruits.
