A casserole with sauerkraut and potatoes is good for lunch or dinner, because it turns out to be satisfying and perfectly satisfies hunger.

Ingredients
- Potato 800 g
- Bacon 150 g
- Onion 1 piece
- Vegetable oil 1 tbsp. spoon + for lubrication
- Sauerkraut 800 g
- Water 180 ml
- Paprika to taste
- Salt to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste
- Sugar to taste
- Eggs 2 pieces
- Milk 4 tbsp. spoons
- Cheese 150 g
Cooking method
Boil the potatoes for 25-30 minutes, cool and cut into slices.
Cut the bacon into small pieces, fry together with the chopped onion in oil for 5-7 minutes.
Squeeze the cabbage, and then mix with bacon and onion. Fry for a few minutes, then add water, paprika and simmer under the lid until the liquid evaporates. Season with salt, pepper and a little sugar to balance the flavor.
Grease the mold with oil and put half of the potatoes in it. Season with salt and pepper. Spread the cabbage on top in an even layer and cover with the remaining potatoes. Add some salt and pepper again.
Beat the eggs with milk and pour over the potatoes with cabbage. Sprinkle with coarsely grated cheese on top.
Bake for about 25-30 minutes at 180 ° C.
