Cooking method

Soak lentils for 1 hour in cold water and boil until soft for 35-40 minutes. Drain and cool the legumes slightly.
How to cook different colored lentils
Peel and finely chop the carrots, onions and garlic. Grind vegetables with walnuts, seeds and half lentils in a food processor until smooth.
Add whole lentils, bread crumbs, thyme, oregano and salt, and stir.
In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and tomato paste with a fork. Pour the mixture over the lentils and stir.
Knead the minced meat, gradually adding flour to it. If it looks runny, add 2-3 teaspoons more.
Shape the minced meat into 10 identical cutlets and fry them in vegetable oil for 5-6 minutes on each side.
-
Cut the burger buns in half and fry for 1 minute, slices down. Cut the cucumbers and tomatoes into slices.
You can use any vegetables and additives for burgers.
Brush half a bun with mayonnaise or other sauce, add lettuce, cutlet and cucumbers with tomatoes. Cover the burger with the second half of the bun. Do the rest the same way.
