About when supernatural antiheroes appeared in the movies, how the Internet affects their popularity and why the undead are so “tenacious”.
Creatures from the other world have been on the big screen since the end of the 19th century. One of the earliest paintings - "Devil's Castle" by Georges Méliès - was filmed in 1896. Since then, the genre of films about monsters has evolved: now comedies and even melodramas are filmed about vampires and werewolves. What can we say about zombies - the favorite kind of evil spirits among viewers of all ages. Here and TV series with video games in the universe of "The Walking Dead", and remakes of classics by George Romero, and endless number of original films, always ending in Z: World War Z, Hungry Z, New era Z ".
