Peel the onion and cut into rings. Peel and chop the garlic.
Mix vegetables with soy sauce, honey, wine, sugar and spices.
Pour the marinade over the meat and refrigerate for at least 6 hours.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Remove the pork from the marinade, place in a greased dish and bake in a preheated oven for 45-60 minutes, depending on the thickness of the piece.
To find out if the meat is ready, simply pierce it with a knife. Clear juice should flow out of the puncture.
