OS X Mavericks brought us a huge amount of new features, much of which was focused on energy conservation. This, of course, had their effect, because even not new poppies got a good boost to battery life. One of the new functions that this effect has been made, is the App Nap - technology allows "Freeze" inactive applications and very quickly pull them out of this state, when you come back again to them. This process is instant and completely invisible "by eye", but some advanced users are unhappy with this situation and wish to disable this feature. It makes sense for owners of stationary poppies, well, for those who want to sacrifice autonomy in order to remove a few milliseconds delay in the opening of the «app nap'nutyh" applications.
If you, for whatever reason, still want to disable the feature wonderful App Nap, in this article I will show you how to do it.

It's about completely disconnected App Nap in the system, not in the individual applications, that is, OS behavior will be the same as it was up to OS X 10.9. Made a trip next way:
1. open the Terminal (From the folder Programs — Utilities or via Spotlight).
2. Copy and paste here the line of code in it:
defaults write NSGlobalDomain NSAppSleepDisabled -bool YES
3. close Terminal and restart the application / process for the changes to take effect.
No communication is not be displayed, simply change the system settings and all. You can also perelogigitsya or even restart the computer). Make sure that the App Nap really turned off, you can open monitoringsystem and clicking on the tab Energy. The App Nap column in front of all applications and processes should be - Not.
That's a pretty specific recommendation, which is only useful for advanced users or owners of stationary poppies. For most users, it is recommended to leave the App Nap enabled, as it aims to increase the energy efficiency of the system and allow to use resources wisely.
Enabling App Nap
To return to the original settings and turn on App Nap, just open Terminal and to introduce a slightly modified team. Here she is:
defaults delete NSGlobalDomain NSAppSleepDisabled
After this do not forget to restart the application or process to take effect.
