Public polls and quizzes appeared in Telegram

The Telegram messenger has been updated to version 5.14 with public polls, quizzes and some cosmetic improvements. Everything in order.

Polls can now be created in groups or channels. You just need to select the "Poll" option in the attachment menu. Next, enter your question, add answer choices, and select the settings that best suit your goals.

The poll can be open or anonymous, with the ability to select multiple answers, or a quiz where there is only one correct answer and you cannot re-vote. Open voting will show who has chosen which option.

If you need to create a quiz with several questions and multimedia, then this can be done using bots - for example, @quizbot.

Other Telegram improvements include:

the loading indicator when downloading and uploading files now shows the exact amount of uploaded data;
for blocks with messages in the "Chat settings" you can adjust the rounding;
PiP (picture-in-picture) mode for YouTube is available again on iOS.
