The prices of the new consoles Xbox Series X and S appeared on the web

The famous Windows Central portal shared new details on upcoming consoles from Microsoft. According to site sources, the Xbox Series X and its budget edition Series S will be unveiled on November 10th. The first will cost $ 499 (≈37,800 rubles), and the second can be purchased for $ 299 (≈22,600 rubles).

Also insiders revealed the design of the Xbox Series S, which Microsoft has not yet shown. Apparently, this model will have a more traditional case. It can be placed both vertically and horizontally. Due to the large circular grille of the cooling system, the console is already being compared to a radio receiver.

This version of the console will be several times smaller in size. Xbox Series X towers, which for someone can be an additional advantage. On the front panel, it has one USB port, and, apparently, there will be no floppy drive. This is confirmed by previous leaks, according to which Series S is designed for screens with FHD / 2K resolution. For this reason, the console's GPU performance is several times lower than that of the X version: 4 teraflops versus 12.

The announcement of competitors, the PlayStation 5, is also due in November, but most likely it will take place a week later. So far, the exact dates of the presentations have not been officially confirmed.
