Chinese portal Xiaohongshu published some photos of paper instructions from the unannounced iPad Air 4. Judging by this leak, the new mid-priced Apple tablets will get the same narrow-bezel screen as the flagship iPad Pro models.
The matrix and resolution are not mentioned, but there is an indication of Touch ID - a fingerprint scanner, which will now be placed not under the display, but in the oblong power button on top. Face ID is likely to remain the domain of the iPad Pro.
Another interesting innovation is the emergence of a USB-C port instead of the traditional Lightning. Also on the back of the device there will be a Smart Connector for connecting the Magic Keyboard and other compatible accessories.
Given the positioning of the Air line, which is the middle link between the iPad and iPad Pro, all these changes look quite logical. About them earlier spoke and Japanese insiders, who also mentioned an 11-inch diagonal, a rather modest main camera and an A13 Bionic-level chip. The new product can be presented together with the iPad Mini and the iPhone 12 series in early September.
