Nintendo is gearing up to launch an improved version of its Switch game console next year along with a lineup of new games to rival Playstation 5 and Xbox series x. About it reports Bloomberg citing an anonymous source familiar with the company's plans.
The specs of the new model are still under wraps, but the company plans to add 4K support and make the console more powerful. The launch will be followed by announcements of many games from both Nintendo itself and third-party developers (and this explains why there were so few interesting releases on Switch in 2020).
In particular, the sequel The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the World and Bayonetta 3 - perhaps this is what Nintendo plans to release in 2021 to draw attention to the new Switch. Also Nintendo has already announced the return of the popular "photo-hunting simulator" Pokemon Snap - it too may come out next year.
