Research company Counterpoint Research published new report on the state of affairs in the smartwatch market. It says that Apple managed to gain a foothold in the position of the undisputed leader - the company's share reached 51.4%. In other words, one in two smartwatches in the world is an Apple Watch.
In second place with a share of 9.4% is Garmin, which continues to rely on sports and active leisure enthusiasts. The key lines of Forerunner and Fenix accessories are selling better, especially in Europe and North America. The third position and 8.3% of the market belongs to Huawei. She has significantly improved her position due to the successful sale of watches Watch GT 2 in the domestic market of China and Asia.
