The Xiaomi Youpin crowdfunding showcases the Evebot PrintPods portable printer that can print on almost any surface. It will allow you to apply a drawing or some kind of pattern to paper, leather, fabric, dishes, shoes, or even bread. Moreover, in the latter case, you can use a special edible paint.
The paint is selected depending on the application surface - it can be temporary, ultra-durable or visible only in ultraviolet rays. In any scenario, the surface of the object itself does not have to be flat - small bumps, curves or perforations make the Evebot PrintPods truly versatile decision.
The length of the gadget is only 95 mm. The ink cartridge is built directly into the body. To set up printing, a mobile application on a smartphone is used, where you can select ready-made fonts and templates or upload your images.
The Xiaomi Youpin website has this printer available for an order priced at 499 yuan (≈5,300 rubles). After a successful crowdfunding, it may appear on AliExpress as well.
