Xiaomi has teamed up with German tool maker Wiha to unveil a new flashlight. It features three operating modes: a standard flashlight (two cold LEDs for 100 and 310 lumens), an infrared laser pointer for marking and an ultraviolet light for reading marks. In standard mode, it is capable of illuminating a distance of up to 65 meters.
There is a powerful magnet at the bottom of the device for attaching to metal surfaces such as the hood of a car. This part is also strong enough to break through thick glass if necessary, such as a car window. The case itself is protected from moisture according to the IPX4 standard.
The flashlight weighs approximately 252 grams, is 152 mm long and 30 mm in diameter. If necessary, the upper part can be turned by 180 ° - in this form, the length is reduced to 125 mm. It runs on three AAA batteries, which also adds weight, autonomy is not specified.
The novelty has already gone on sale in China at a price of 249 yuan (≈2 640 rubles). It should be on AliExpress soon.
