Huami has officially unveiled the new Amazfit Bip S Lite smartwatch. As the name suggests, this is a stripped-down version. Bip Swhich came out at the beginning of the year. From a design point of view, the standard and simplified versions are indistinguishable: there is still the same 1.28-inch color display with massive bezels and a silicone wristband.
In terms of characteristics, the difference between the versions is only one: Lite does not have a GPS module, which limits the ability to track activity. But the heart rate sensor remained. There is also a software change: there are 8 sports modes instead of 10 in the usual Bip S.
The watch connects to a smartphone via Bluetooth 5.0 and is able to display notifications, display incoming calls and control music on the smartphone. The 200 mAh battery will provide up to 30 days of battery life.
Another difference in comparison with the Bip S was the colors: the new product is not presented in white, and the case of the blue version is not orange, but to match the bracelet (the orange color remains only on the wheel). Black and pink colors remain unchanged
Amazfit Bip S Lite will go on sale in India on July 29 at a price of Rs 3,799 (approximately RUB 3,600). The watch should appear on AliExpress shortly thereafter.
