Following the ruler RedmiBook Ryzen Edition Xiaomi company released new models RedmiBook 14 II and RedmiBook 16 with 10th generation Intel Core processors. Both can be equipped with Intel Core i5-1035G1 or i7-1065G7 chips, as well as integrated graphics or discrete NVIDIA GeForce MX350 graphics.
RedmiBook 16
RedmiBook 16 is equipped with a 16.1-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels and brightness up to 300 nits. The amount of RAM in all modifications is the same - 16 GB, and the SSD is 512 GB. The laptop supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1. Ports include USB 3.1, USB 2.0, two USB-C, HDMI 1.4, and a 3.5mm audio port.
As for autonomy, here the manufacturer claims up to 12 hours of work when playing offline videos, up to 9 hours of watching videos from the Web and up to 8.5 hours of web surfing. The included power adapter has a power of 65 W, which allows you to replenish 50% of the battery charge in just 30 minutes.
RedmiBook 14 II
The RedmiBook 14 II has a 14-inch screen, a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, 100% sRGB gamut coverage and brightness up to 300 nits. RAM, depending on the version, can be installed 8 or 16 GB, and the volume of an SSD-drive in any version is 512 GB.
The set of connectors is the same as on the 16-inch model. The same is with wireless communications. Autonomy is a little more modest: up to 10.5 hours of offline video playback, up to 8.5 hours when watching videos on the Web and up to 7.5 hours of work in a browser. Charging is also 65 W and it replenishes 50% of the energy in just 28 minutes.
The prices of the new products are as follows: RedmiBook 16 in the minimum configuration (Core i5 and 16/512 GB) will cost 4 999 yuan (≈51,400 rubles), and the RedmiBook 14 II (Core i5 and 8/512 GB) will cost 4,699 (≈48,300 rubles). Sales will start on July 15th.
