Early 2019 Xiaomi released treadmill that can be easily folded up and stowed under the bed. Customers liked this form factor, so the line of these sports devices continues to expand. The new model, called the WalkingPad S1, is even more compact.
By design, the new product does not differ from its predecessors - it can be folded and removed so that it does not take up extra space. However, by upgrading the internal components, the manufacturer managed to make the device noticeably lighter, more mobile and quieter.
The WalkingPad S1 weighs 27 kg and has the following dimensions: 82.5 x 51.8 x 14 cm folded and 144.5 x 51.8 x 12.4 cm unassembled, ready to use. According to the manufacturer, the track takes up 45% less space than the previous WalkingPad R1 Pro model.
The track has an anti-slip surface and a system of built-in sensors that allow you to adjust the rotation speed depending on the selected pace. The maximum speed is 6 km / h, which is almost the same as jogging. Basically, the track is intended for fast walking.
An LED touch panel is located on the front of the body of the simulator, which displays information about the speed, the number of steps and calories burned, as well as the training time. You can control the device using the buttons on the sides of the screen, the remote control and the KS Fit mobile application.
The WalkingPad S1 can be used with a dedicated palm rest, which will be very useful for older users. However, you need to buy such a support separately - it is not supplied in the standard kit.
The WalkingPad S1 track itself is priced at $ 469 (≈33,500 rubles). It is already possible now order on Indiegogo or buy in AliExpress for 40,864 rubles. Reducing the price can help promo codes.
