Xiaomi introduced the hinged backlight for monitors

Lack of lighting when working at a computer affects not only your productivity, but also your health, leading to headaches, fatigue and dry eyes. That is why in recent years, hanging lamps have become more and more popular, which are mounted on a computer monitor and make work more comfortable - it does not matter in the office or at home.

Xiaomi introduced such a device in the Mijia line - it is already available for pre-order on the brand's crowdfunding platform in China. The device received a metal case and an asymmetrical mount that can be customized.

Thanks to a special filter, the light from the lamp will not glare on the screen. The package includes a remote control that runs on two AAA batteries. It can be used to adjust the brightness and temperature of the backlight.

The Mijia Display Hanging Lamp connects to the computer via USB-C. This allows it to turn on at the same time as the PC and turn off when the monitor goes out. As a source of energy, the lamp can use an adapter from your phone, a power bank - or even be powered by a monitor.

The novelty was estimated at 169 yuan (≈1 630 rubles). For now, it can only be pre-ordered in China, but after the release it should appear on AliExpress.
