Huawei has officially unveiled the updated line of Honor Play4 and Play4 Pro smartphones. Both models received side fingerprint scanners and support for 5G networks, however, the filling is different.
Honor play4
The basic version of the novelty is positioned as an affordable solution for top mobile games. Inside, the smartphone has a MediaTek Dimensity 800 processor, which is complemented by a liquid cooling system, 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory.
The screen has a diagonal of 6.81 inches with a resolution of Full HD + (2400 × 1080 pixels) and a hole for a 16MP front camera. The main one includes four modules at once: the main one is 64 megapixels, the ultra-wide-angle one is 8 megapixels, the depth-of-field sensor is 2 megapixels and the macromodule is also 2 megapixels.
The battery with a capacity of 4,300 mAh with support for fast charging with a capacity of 22.5 W. The Honor Play4 starts at 1,799 yuan (≈17,500 rubles).
Honor Play4 Pro
This is a more interesting novelty, which received the proprietary flagship chipset Kirin 990, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. The main feature of the device is an IR sensor for measuring temperature.
It can be used to measure the temperature of the body, water or indoor air. With a measuring range of -20 to +100 ° C, the declared accuracy is 0.1 ° C.
The temperature sensor is located under the dual main camera with 40 Mp (Sony IMX600) and 8 Mp modules. The latter is designed for 3x optical zoom. The Honor Play4 Pro has a 6.57-inch display with FHD resolution. The hole on the left has a selfie camera with two sensors, 32 and 8 megapixels.
A 4,200 mAh battery with support for 40 W fast charging is responsible for the autonomy of the gadget. There is also an NFC module for contactless payment. It will be possible to buy the Honor Play4 Pro in China for 2,999 yuan (≈29,100 rubles). The version of the smartphone without a temperature sensor will cost a little cheaper - 2,899 yuan (≈28,200 rubles).
