A new video comparison of smartphones has been released on the PhoneBuff YouTube channel. This time, he decided to check how different the speed of two smartphones with an Apple A13 Bionic processor from completely different price categories is: iPhone SE 2020 (from 39,990 rubles) and iPhone 11 Pro Max (from 99,990 rubles).
The main feature of the updated iPhone SE was the use of the same processor as the flagships of 2019. At the same time, in terms of the amount of RAM, it is slightly inferior to the iPhone 11 Pro Max: 3 GB versus 4 GB, respectively. To test how noticeable the difference in speed is, YouTuber ran his standard mechanized test.
On both smartphones, 16 applications were sequentially launched and performed simple actions (launching a game, processing photos, rendering videos) that simulate everyday use of a smartphone. The iPhone SE finished the first lap in 1 minute 48 seconds, losing only 2 seconds to its “big brother”.
But when all the same applications were opened in the second round, the difference in 1 GB of RAM became more noticeable. The budgetary manager was able to keep not all programs open in the background, and it took him 53 seconds to complete the second round - versus 40 seconds for the iPhone 11 Pro Max.
Overall, the 2020 iPhone SE is impressive - especially considering that it costs more than half the 11 Pro Max. Which of these smartphones do you think is the best - considering the difference in price and speed?
